Woman, 41, arrested for meth possession in Cass County

A 41-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of meth possession.
The arrest happened on Monday, March 5, when detectives from the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team were called in to help the Cass County Sheriff’s Office with a suspicious situation, in the 66000 block of Kessington Street.
While detectives were on scene they made contact with the woman who was driving a van in the area of the situation, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators believe the woman was in the area to pick up a male suspect
Police say they found methamphetamine and needles were found in the van.
The woman was arrested and taken to the Cass County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and driving without a license.
