Two people shot during party in Dowagiac

A fight at a party escalated to gunfire with two people shot in Dowagiac.

Dowagiac Police were called to the 200 block of Miller Street around 1:20 a.m. on Sunday, March 25.

On arrival, officers were told the two injured people took themselves to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

At the hospital, they made contact with the victims, a 21-year-old man from from Benton Harbor and a 21-year-old man from Ohio, ABC 57 reported.

The two men suffered non-life-threatening injuries to their legs.

As of early Sunday afternoon, there was no word of any suspects or arrests.
