The second of six men charged in a South Bend double homicide has been found guilty.
A jury found 35-year-old Joshua Sage guilty of two counts of murder and a count of dealing methamphetamine. He’s facing up to 130 years in prison, depending on how a judge sentences him on June 13 and if the judge decides to run any sentences concurrently.
Sage was involved in what court documents say was a drug deal gone wrong in August 2017. Anton James and Damon Bethel were shot to death as a result.
38-year-old Robert Brady Junior has been sentenced to 18 and a half years in prison for his drug-dealing role. Four others cases are pending, with trials set for all but one of them this summer.
