Gunfire leads to arrest recklessness and intoxication charges in LaGrange County

A woman in LaGrange County was arrested on criminal recklessness and public intoxication charges after police say she fired a gun.

The incident happened around 5 a.m. on Monday, May 28, in the area of County Road 1000 East and County Road 600 North.

Sheriff’s deputies arrived to find Jamie Larkin walking along the road, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

They say she told them she was running with the gun in her hand when she tripped and fell, causing the gun to go off, ABC 57 reported.

There were no injuries.
