Build-A-Bear’s “Pay Your Age Day” draws massive crowd at University Park Mall

A massive line of people gathered at University Park Mall Thursday for a promotion that had to be halted nationwide.

Build A Bear announced “Pay Your Age Day” at all of its stores in the U.S. and Canada. However, due to safety concerns, the stuffed animal retailer had to announce on Facebook that it was no longer accepting customers at about 11 a.m. eastern time Thursday at ANY of its stores because of massive turnouts.

One listener told us the line at the University Park Mall that stretched all the way from the store itself, through the mall, and out around the Barnes and Noble.
