Stabbing investigation underway east of Notre Dame campus

As many as two people were hurt in an apparent stabbing which took place east of the Notre Dame campus.

Officers with the South Bend Police Department were called just after 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sep. 1, regarding the incident on Ivy Court near Twyckenham Drive.

It’s not known if both people hurt had been stabbed.

The two victims were last reported to be in stable condition, WSBT reported.

A possible suspect was taken into custody, WSBT reported.
