Ligonier man, 25, arrested on suspicion of child pornography

A 25-year-old man from Ligonier was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 4, on charges related to the possession of child pornography.

The investigation began in July when a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was received by the ICAC Task Force.

As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was obtained and, based on preliminary findings as a result of the search warrant, Robert Paul Taylor was arrested at his home on preliminary charges of possession of child pornography and possession of child pornography (victims under the age of 12).

An additional exam of electronics is on going and the possibility of additional charges will be determined by the Noble County Prosecutor’s Office.
