A teenager is recovering after being shot in South Bend.

The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, in the 900 block of Dubail.

South Bend Police found the 16 year-old male victim in the 1100 block of Calvert.

The teenager was taken to the hospital with a hip wound.

The victim claims he was approached by three unknown males, one of who allegedly shot him.

One of the suspects was described as a black male in a dark hoodie.
