Two people injured in shooting on S. Scott Street in South Bend

Two people are recovering from injuries in a shooting in South Bend.

Police were sent to the 1700 block of S Scott Street in mid-afternoon on Sunday, Dec. 2, where they found one of the victims, who had injuries to his arm and abdomen.

The other victim walked into Memorial Hospital and was treated for injuries to his arm and shoulder.

There was no immediate word on what led to the shooting.
