Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood to run for re-election

Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood made his formal announcement regarding his intention to run and candidacy for re-election as the Mayor of Mishawaka at a news conference on Tuesday, Jan. 8.

Wood made the announcement in front of a gathering of family, friends and supporters at he Carnegie Library Special Event Center on North Hill Street in Mishawaka.

During his announcement, Wood emphasized that Mishawaka has always been a place of unlimited opportunity.

Wood also expressed that, he has always felt that city government is the most important layer of government because it is the closest to the people.

Wood also highlighted some the accomplishments of his administrations and shared components of his dynamic vision for Mishawaka – “A Vision for Moving Mishawaka Forward” – at the news conference.
