Alcohol suspected as factor in head-on crash in Berrien County

Alcohol many be a factor in a head-on crash late Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 9, at Napier and Arent Road in Bainbridge Township in Berrien County.

Investigators say the driver of a car crossed the center line and struck a pick-up truck.

The force of the crash caused the truck to then hit a power pole.

The driver of the car had to be extricated.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
