Officials seek person who abandoned a wounded kitten

South Bend Animal Care and Control is looking for information about a driver and vehicle involved in the abandoning of a kitten Saturday morning.

The SBACC posted photos of the cat and the car on their Facebook page over the weekend. According to South Bend Animal Care and Control, security footage from Mulligan’s Bar & Grill Saturday morning saw the individual drive behind the restaurant shortly before 8:30 in the morning. The driver dumped the kitten and drove off.

SBACC rescued the cat, which suffered severe frostbite on it’s paws.
