Suspect sought in deadly hit-and-run crash in Bangor Township

The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a suspect in a deadly hit-and-run crash in Bangor Township.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27.

A 55-year-old man was struck in the 61 thousand block of County Road 378, according to the sheriff’s department.

Deputies are looking for a Dodge Journey that is described as less than ten years old and likely silver or light blue in color. The vehicle would have front end damage on the driver’s side.
