A guilty plea has been entered from the man who prosecutors say struck and killed a 50-year-old Mishawaka man on E. McKinley Avenue near Filbert Ave. and then left the scene.

The collision on Feb. 14 claimed the life of Lester Horrall.

Vincent Hunter, Jr., 26, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene.

After his vehicle was spotted by a officer at the an Ellhart apartment complex, Hunter turned himself into police, admitted that he had hit something, but said he wasn’t sure what it was, the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office stated.
