Door-to-door insurance salespeople causing concern for residents

Police in Noble County are responding to complaints about insurance salespeople making local residents unomfortable.

The salespeople in question are working for a company out of Iowa named Platinum Supplemental Insurance.

The Noble County Sheriff’s Department says the group will be going door-to-door in the next four to eight weeks selling policies that have been approved and licensed in Indiana, but notes the Department has received complaints from several residents.

They didn’t provide any further details on what caused the discomfort, except to say that if someone is on your property and refusing to leave, call police.
