A local restaurant icon has passed away.

Bruno Cataldo, owner of the legendary Bruno’s Pizza in South Bend, died Saturday, March 2, at the age of 92.

Bruno’s has five Michiana locations and was founded in 1975.

Visitation has been scheduled for Thursday, March 7, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Palmer Funeral Home in South Bend, with a funeral Friday, March 8, at 11 a.m. at St. Hedwig Church.
