Reported abduction attempt under investigation in Bridgeman

Police in Bridgman are investigating an attempted abduction.

It happened near the Toth Park area on Tuesday afternoon, April 9.

A young girl told police she was approached by a man in a vehicle, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The suspect asked the girl if she wanted a ride.  She said no, then he got out of the car and grabbed her arm. She wrestled free, ABC 57 reported.

The suspect is said to be white, in his 40s, about 5-feet-9-inches tall, wearing a ski-mask and driving a dark vehicle with tinted windows and Florida plates.
