Man shot during social media transaction on E. Bronson Street in South Bend

A man suffered injuries to his arm and leg after a shooting in South Bend.

Police were called to the 600 block of East Bronson Street around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, April 29, where they found the victim.

The victim, a 27 year old man, called 911 to report being shot.

When officers arrived, they found the man with wounds to the arm, shoulder and leg. Officers immediately provided first aid. He was taken to the hospital with apparent non life threatening injuries.

Through the initial investigation, officers learned the victim had been attempting to sell a game system through a social media transaction when the shooting occurred.
