Silver Alert for missing man in South Bend cancelled

UPDATE: The Silver Alert for Robert Lemere was cancelled at 9 p.m. on Saturday night.

ORIGINAL STORY: The South Bend Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Robert Lemere, a 87 year old white male, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 170 pounds, gray hair with blue eyes, and driving a white 2006 Buick LeSabre with green paint down passenger side and Indiana license plate number D701ER.

Robert is missing from South Bend and was last seen around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 25.

He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
