Business, vehicles hit during police pursuit in Mishawaka

A police chase in Mishawaka led to a police car crashing into a hardware store and the suspect hitting a couple of vehicles at a car dealership.

It happened around 10 a.m. on Monday, June 3, at Grove and Cedar Street in Mishawaka.

An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver failed to stop.

The officer swerved to avoid hitting some construction workers on Cedar Street and struck an Ace Hardware.

The suspect crashed into a few vehicles at Jordan Automotive. The officer suffered minor injuries. The suspect was taken into custody.
