The body of a missing wakesurfer was recovered from Clear Lake in Steuben County.

John I. Adams, 20, of Lake Forest Illinois went missing while on the water on Thursday, June 27.

Utilizing a Remote Operated Vehicle sonar unit, Indiana Conservation Officers began a search the the area. They found Adams’ body in about 56 feet of water on Saturday.

An autopsy is taking place to determine the exact cause of death.
