A man was injured by a propeller in a boating accident in Cass County on Saturday, July 6.

Police say it happened on Diamond Lake in LaGrange Township.

A 34 year-old Granger man fell off the back of the boat when a passenger bumped the throttle, and he was struck by the propeller.

The victim suffered multiple lacerations on his right side and was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
