He ran a red light…and ended up hospitalized with head, arm and leg injuries.

That’s what the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office says about the 38-year-old man who was driving southbound, on State Road 19, and hit a car, driven by a 28-year-old woman from Bristol, at the intersection of County Road 46.

The woman wasn’t hurt.

The driver who police say caused the crash is believed to have suffered a concussion.
