The Elkhart Parks & Recreation Department and Cummins Onan will host a community picnic at Sterling Park.

It’s a free, family-friendly event that will be going on from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday evening.

Enjoy free activities, games, and picnic food at the park. It’s on the southeast side at the former LaBour Pump facility.

The City was awarded the Eartha Award by the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce in 2013 for their work to redevelop the 5-acre site.
