Police: Man jailed after stabbing his mother in Mishawaka

A 24-year-old man is in jail after police say he stabbed his mother.

Police were called around 10:45 p.n. on Monday, Aug. 5, to the 700 block of East 4th Street in Mishawaka where they found the woman covered in blood, having suffered stab wounds and cuts to her chest and arm.

The woman told police her son attacked her, according to court documents.

Police tracked 24-year-old Raymond McClorrine down with the help of a K-9 officer.

He is charged with battery by means of a deadly weapon.

His initial bail hearing and arraignment are scheduled for Wednesday at 1 p.m.
