A Mishawaka man has pleaded not guilty in the stabbing of his mother.

Twenty-four year-old Raymond McClorrine II has been charged with Battery By Means of a Deadly Weapon, and entered the plea Wednesday.

The stabbing happened at a home in the 700 block of East 4th Street shortly before midnight Monday.

The victim identified her son as the suspect, but it’s not known what might have sparked the attack.

McClorinne is scheduled for a hearing on August 22.
