A man in South Bend was busted for counterfeiting after police saw him cutting out fake $20 bills from a sheet of photocopied currency.

Court records say the police were at a home on E. Fox Street on August 3 for an unrelated matter when they spotted the man in a back bedroom. He’s been identified as Robert Turner, Jr.

When the police took Turner into custody, they also found a small amount of cocaine in his pocket.
