The Grissom Air Reserve Base will soon hold their first air show since 2003.

The base will host the Grissom Air and Space Expo on September 7th and 8th. The US Air Force Thunderbirds will make an appearance, as will the Golden Knights Parachute Team, and a number of vintage aircraft. It’s all part of the military’s effort this year to honor the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Special tickets will also be availble for VIP, Museum and Air Show, and a concert from Roots In Blue, the Air Force’s own “Band of Mid-America.”
