The City of South Bend is planning a neighborhood rehab event on Saturday, August 26th.

It starts at 8:30 a.m. in the Lincoln-Bendix Park neighborhood, and is part of South Bend’s “Love Your Block” program. Volunteers will pick up litter, do minor landscaping, and help with small home repairs in Love Your Block program homes.

Anyone interested in helping their neighbors can report to the check-in tent at the Holy Trinity Church parking lot on North Olive.

After the clean-ups are finished there will be a block party with free food, music, and games.
