The Workforce Cabinet of Indiana’s Governor has awarded nearly a million dollars in Career Coaching Grants.

The money will be shared among 14 grantees, including in the South Bend and Elkhart area, which will receive 10 thousand dollars in Planning Grants.

The Local Career Coaching Grant is an opportunity for K through 12, post-secondary and other community-based organizations to collaborate on comprehensive, career-focused solutions.

The Cabinet is rewarding communities that are working on workforce and education programs that work together.

Applicants were required to commit a 25% local match for funding and limit administrative expenses to 5% of the total grant.
