Nearly a dozen families displaced by apartment fire in Berrien Springs

No word, yet, on the cause of a fire that destroyed an apartment building in Berrien Springs.

The blaze happened just before 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Park Manor Apartments. At least 10 families lost all their belongings.

None of the residents were injured. One firefighter was taken to the hospital for possible smoke inhalation.
