South Bend Approves New Plan Commission

The South Bend Common Council voted unanimously to create a new city planning commission. The South Bend Plan Commission will start on December 1st and handle property development in the city. They had been part of the St. Joseph Area Plan Commission.

It will cost about $200,000 to get the new commission up and running, money officials say they have already saved up.
