Goshen Police Officer Resigns

Officer Brody Brown had been ordered to complete required alcohol education, but failed to do so and decided to step down.

In December of 2018 he was arrested with two other off duty officers in the car; one was and Elkhart officer the other a Goshen officer. He was subsequently given a 50 day suspension and placed on unpaid leave.

The Goshen News reports he was supposed to have completed the education by mid august, the Goshen Board of Public Works and safety voted unanimously to accept the resignation.
