A Silver Lake man was arrested and charged in the robbery of the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church.

Authorities say Joshua S. Jennings, 38, was taken into custody on Wednesday, Sep. 18.

He is charged with Level 5 felony burglary and misdemeanor theft.

Detectives say they used security video to create still photos that they posted on social media, and that led them to Jennings.

He allegedly entered the church on July 9th and took batteries, flashlights, radios and CD recorders. His initial hearing was Thursday.
