A man has been charged with attempted robbery and intimidation after he allegedly threatened to “gut” another man.

South Bend Police were sent to the 400 block of N. Olive Street on Monday, Sept. 30, on reports of a man threatening another man with a knife, according to ABC 57.

The victim told officers that Clinton Timmons had threatened him with a knife, and said he’d “stomp him” and “gut him” if he didn’t hand over $20.

Timmons was located and arrested after police were able to view surveillance video from a gas station that backed up the victim’s claims. He was in possession of a knife at the time of his arrest.
