If you see military aircraft over the campus of Notre Dame Thursday afternoon, it’s no cause for alarm.

In fact, it was a test run for Saturday. The University says two Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft will perform the flyover for this weekend’s Fighting Irish game with USC.

The C-130 has long been the transport workhorse for the military, moving soldiers and equipment around the world.
