Woman accused of using group home resident’s debit card to pay bills

A woman who worked at a Logan Center group home is accused of using a debit card belonging to a resident with cognitive disabilities to pay her bills.

Chiquita Prince has been charged with three counts of fraud. This, after more than $300 in unauthorized charges on the debit card were revealed, according to court documents as reported by 95.3 MNC’s news partners at ABC 57.

The court documents state that Prince used the card to pay her power bill, her cell phone bil and a friend’s cell phone bill.

Prince admitted to detectives that she copied the victim’s debit card number.
