Man in jail for a pair of robberies in Elkhart County

A man is in jail after allegedly robbing an Elkhart gas station and a liquor store in Goshen.

Police say 19 year-old Henry Littrice was in court Thursday after his arrest.

Officials say in a police interview he admitted to the two robberies, and said they were committed while he was a passenger in a vehicle on October 16th.

He said he robbed the Speedway on South Nappanee Street with a gun, and an hour later the group drove to the Chalet Party Shoppe in Goshen and he robbed that business with the same gun. The suspect vehicle was spotted a short time later.

Littrice says the robberies were a spontaneous decision. His trial is expected to begin in March.
