The threat of contracting EEE (Eastern Equine Encephalitis)  is over with the cold weather, but unfortunately the disease has claimed another life.

Officials have confirmed the death of an Eau Claire farmer who contracted EEE back in August. He was undergoing treatment at the ICU at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
