Edwardsburg man, 44, injured after crashing into a tree

A 44-year-old Edwardsburg man was injured in a crash in Cass County.

The collision happened around 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, on Mason Street near Gordon Road, in Mason Township.

The driver was traveling eastbound when his vehicle ran off the roadway, hit a mailbox and then a tree, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

The man was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment.

It’s not yet known if any intoxicating substances factored into the crash.
