South Bend Mayor and presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg continues to collect endorsements.

Wednesday afternoon, African-American city leaders and elected officials held a press conference at the Charles Martin Youth Center to offer their support to Buttigieg.

This happens in the wake of a widely publicized endorsement of fomer Vice President Joe Biden by South Bend City Councilman Oliver Davis.

Wednesday morning, the South Bend mayor also received the endorsement of progress PAC VoteVets. Their chairman said “the number one priority has to be beating Donald Trump,” and said he believes Buttigieg has the best chance of doing so.

In November, Buttigieg announced that he would not take corporate PAC money.
