Swearing-in ceremonies set in South Bend, Elkhart, for elected officials

A swearing-in ceremony for the elected officials of the City of Elkhart is set for 12 p.m. on New Year’s Day.

The event is taking place in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

In South Bend, Mayor-elect James Mueller, City Clerk Dawn Jones and elected Common Council members will be sworn in at the Great Hall inside the Century Center at 3 p.m. on New Year’s Day.

Both the Elkhart swearing-in and the South Bend swearing-in are open to the public.
