It’s a guilty plea from an Elkhart County man in the death of his wife.

It was back in late May 2017 when prosecutors say 57-year-old Lamar Mast was driving on State Road 19 with cocaine in his system, crossed the center line and struck another vehicle.

Lamar’s wife, Jan, 54, who was riding in his vehicle, was killed.

Two people in the vehicle he struck were hurt.

Mast will be sentenced in March.
