Police in Michigan City have arrested two teenagers in connection with a shooting that happened Saturday. What led to the shooting is unclear, but the two teens that were arrested were actually the ones that dropped the victim at the hospital.

The shooting happened sometime Saturday night in the area of 11th St. and Lafayette, and while police were investigating, the victim was dropped at the hospital. Police were able to stop the vehicle that had dropped him off, and that is when they arrested 19 year old Ethan Gates and an unnamed 16 year old on weapons and drugs charges.

The 20 year old victim’s injuries are considered non-life threatening. Both suspects and the victim are from the Fort Wayne area.
