Man shot on North Johnson Street in South Bend

A man is recovering after being shot in South Bend.

Police were called to the 1300 block of North Johnson Street around 9 p.m. on Friday, April 3, where they found the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his lower extremities.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There was no word of any suspects, arrests or information about what led to the shooting.
