INDOT says the 2020 construction season has barely begun, and there have already been 83 work zone crashes so far.

They ask Hoosiers on the roads to be mindful when they see the orange signs, and slow down.

INDOT reports 1,100 projects are underway around the state.

There were 23 fatalities last year in crashes at INDOT work zones.
