BBB says COVID-19 scammers now using online puppy transactions to cheat people

Marjorie Stephens of the Better Business Bureau of Northern Indiana says scammers online have begun claiming that extra charges are needed to ship or insure animals to the buyer.

In each reported case, they also demand an alternate form of payment that is untraceable.
