One person hospitalized after shooting in South Bend

One person was injured in a shooting in South Bend.

It happened around 1:40 p.m. on Monday, May 25, in the 1500 block of Anderson Avenue.

The victim was walking when someone opened fire, according to South Bend Police.

The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There was no immediate word of any suspects or arrests.
