Indiana prison officer busted for allegedly trafficking cell phones

An Indiana State Prison correctional officer has been arrested for allegedly trafficking cell phones.

During a routine search of the staff on July 8, Officer Portia Williams was detained for the alleged offence and transported to the LaPorte County Jail for processing.

She’s currently on unpaid suspension awaiting determination of final charges. She faces a Level 5 felony in the case.
