A woman was taken to the hospital after she was shot in the leg.

The shooting happened around 3:40 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, at Miami Hills Apartments.

The victim’s wound was non-life-threatening.

Police said it was a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.
